We’re up to lucky number 7 on Building the Dam’s countdown of the top 20 players to watch in 2023. Offensive line has been the Beavers’ best unit for a few seasons now, and today we’re taking a look at a player who had a breakout season last year.

In 2021 Fuaga wasn’t yet a starter, but appeared in 10 of the Beavers’ games and was already being tabbed as one of OSU’s next great linemen. In 2022, as a full time starter, Fuaga proved his fans right, with an absolutely dominant series that saw him as a key part of a line that helped Oregon State’s passing and rushing game put up mammoth numbers.

Fuaga earned himself an honorable mention on PFF’s All American list, who also put him on their All Pac-12 First Team. He was also named to the All Pac-12 Second Team by the conference itself and the AP. Ahead of this season he has been named to the Watch List for both the Outland Trophy and the Lombardi Award, both given to linemen. Another big season for Fuaga should draw some attention from NFL Draft scouts.
