Fall camp is underway, and we’re just over a month away from the start of Beaver football. As we rev up our coverage, we’re going to be counting down 21 of the players who will make the most impact on the 2021 squad. Today, we shift to the Wide Receiver group with a look at Zeriah Beason.
#11 - Zeriah Beason
- Position: Wide Receiver
- Class: Freshman
- Height/Weight: 6’0”, 197 lbs.
- Hometown: Duncanville, Texas / Duncanville High School
Beason hit the ground running in his first season with the Beavers. The true freshman played in all seven games, starting five, and racked up 3 touchdowns and 148 receiving yards. With another year to learn the system and adjust his game to the college level, not to mention a practice schedule impacted less by the pandemic, Beason has a lot of room to grow in 2021, and has the potential to develop into the Beavers’ next great receiver. He’s already received some attention, having been named the watch list for this year’s Earl Campbell Award.
