Oregon St. wide receiver/kick returner James Rodgers has been "Cleared to practice in a limited fashion, for a to be determined amount of time.’’

Rodgers met with doctors at Stanford University today, and another session is on tap for next week with the physican and the Oregon St. training staff, coach Mike Riley said this afternoon in a statement.

"We will have more information after another meeting with the physican and the training staff at some point next week."

Rodgers' recovery is the story around the Beavers this football season, and while not a "full speed ahead" pronouncement, it's better than being held out of action for some further time, and probably the best thing that could be hoped for.
