This is a huge pickup for Oregon State. Consistently fielding a good defensive line group has been a struggle for Oregon State the past few years and to land a commitment from someone of Wright’s talent and skill set is huge. The Beavers have been on a flurry in recent weeks in securing verbal commitments for 2022 and they aren’t done yet. Wright joins a talented group of commits including: Luka Vincic (OT), Jacob Strand (OT), Carlos Mack (S), Dylan Lopez (C), Melvin Jordan (LB), Travis Throckmorton (QB), Cole Prusia (WR) and Damien Martinez (RB).
