Luka Vincic is a 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive tackle from Bothell, Washington. The Pacific Northwest product announced his decision on Twitter Friday evening.
Big thanks to everyone who made this possible including my family, Bothell Coaching staff, my teammates and all the Oregon State Coaches. So excited to announce my 1000% commitment to Oregon State! #BuildtheDam #Trailblazer22 pic.twitter.com/nwcU4x6OVX

Luka Vincic is a very talented and naturally gifted offensive tackle. He also held a scholarship offer from: Utah, Cal, Air Force and basically all of the Ivy League schools (Yale, Harvard, Princeton etc).
This is a huge pickup for Oregon State. Offensive lineman and especially offensive lineman that are tall enough and skilled enough to play left or right tackle are crucial to land on the recruiting trail. The Beavers have been on a flurry in recent weeks in securing verbal commitments for 2022 and they aren’t done yet. Vincic joins a talented group of commits including: Jacob Strand (OT), Carlos Mack (S), Dylan Lopez (C), Melvin Jordan (LB), Travis Throckmorton (QB), Cole Prusia (WR) and Damien Martinez (RB).
I’ve said this before but hiring Jim Michalczik to coach the offensive line continues to pay dividends. Whatever Coach Michalczik is making he is probably due for a pay raise.
