Over the last week, Oregon State’s men’s basketball program has been busy trying to get a head start on the 2022 recruiting class, but over the weekend, the Beavers turned their focus back to the 2021 group, as they offered Heritage Christian School (CA) guard Justin Rochelin.

In addition to Oregon State, Rochelin also holds offers from Houston, Florida, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Penn, San Diego State, TCU, Temple, Tulsa, UC-Santa Barbara, Washington State and Yale, as a three-star guard who listed at 6’ 5”, 180 pounds. He is a natural athlete with a smooth offensive game that is often spurred by his “step-ahead” defense.

Last season, Rochelin helped Heritage Christian to a 26-5 overall record, which included a duo of victories over Bishop Montgomery High School (CA) and Mission Viejo High School (CA) during the regular season. The Warriors lost in the CIF Southern Section Playoffs to eventual runners-up St. Francis High School.

Rochelin joins JUCO product Carlos Curry, a former Ole Miss player, and Australian forward David Okwera as the current open offers in the Beavers 2021 class. Head coach Wayne Tinkle and his staff have already received a pledge in the class from Dashawn Davis, a one-time Seton Hall commit.
