  • Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Oregon State football hasn’t won very many games recently. One of the first steps to fixing that is finding a starting quarterback who can excel consistently. The Statesman Journal did a nice job diving deep into that task ahead of Coach Smith these next few months.

  • The football team’s depth at defensive back took a slight hit over the weekend. Redshirt freshman safety Braelen Bettles announced on his Twitter page that he will enter the transfer portal. Bettles is a Clackamas, Oregon product who did not play last season utilizing his redshirt.

It’s good to laugh at ourselves sometimes.

  • Oregon State Men’s Basketball is in the market for a top JUCO player. Canadian prospect Sean Miller-Moore will visit Corvallis later this month. The guard averaged 19 ppg (59% FG), 8 rebounds per game and 3 assists per game as a sophomore at Moberly Area Community College last season.

  • In one more football note, Nick Daschel over at the Oregonian took a shot at predicting the team’s depth chart with spring ball winding down. In our opinion, his guesses are, for the most part, hard to argue with.
