Injuries continue to pile up in the secondary; also the running backs have taken their fair share of bumps and bruises. Here’s the status of the injuries for Oregon State as they head to Tempe to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils.
QUESTIONABLE
- Jake Luton - Ankle (OUT)
- Conor Blount
- Isaiah Dunn (OUT)
Conor Blount took a big hit against Arizona and had to be relieved by Jack Colletto for a play. Blount quickly returned to the game and should start against Arizona State. Isaiah Dunn was held out against Arizona and has been limited for most of the year. The Beavers hope to have him back against Arizona State, but his status is up in the air right now. Jake Luton’s ankle should be better after a full week of treatment and he should be available against the Sun Devils.
OUT
- Shawn Wilson - Knee (IN)
- Artavis Pierce - Elbow (1-2 weeks)
- David Morris - Foot (1-2 weeks)
- Jeromy Reichner - Foot (Nearing a return)
- Omar Hicks-Onu - Undisclosed injury (unknown)
- Calvin Tyler Jr. - Knee (Out for season)
- Jay Irvine - Shoulder (Out for season)
Shawn Wilson was the biggest injury news for Oregon State against Arizona. He injured his knee (not long-term) and will miss at least a week, maybe two. Pierce looks to still be a week or two away. Jeromy Reichner looks to be the closest to returning to the field for the Beavers.
IN
- Trevon Bradford - Shoulder
- Noah Togiai - Knee
- BJ Baylor - Lower Leg
Bradford and Togiai both saw the field against Arizona. Togiai still needs to get up to speed and in a little better game shape, but it was a huge positive to get him back on the field. BJ Baylor has been active the last couple of weeks, but has been passed by Kase Rogers on the depth chart. It will be interesting to see if he gets a few carries against ASU and how explosive Baylor is able to look.
