NCAA Football: Oregon State at UCLA Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The college football season is just three weeks away! With the off-season quickly coming to an end, Building the Dam is unveiling their top 30 most valuable football players for the 2018 season. We’ll countdown by previewing one player at a time until it’s almost time for some Beaver football.

#19: Trent Moore - Offensive Line

Trent Moore is a 6-foot-4 senior guard/tackle. Moore a returning starter is looking to end his collegiate-career with a bang. Moore is a fairly versatile offensive lineman and it will be interesting to see where he ends up lining up on opening day.

The new coaching staff is upping the competitiveness in fall camp and are ranking each offensive lineman one through 17 throughout their practices, with the top five earning starting spots. Four starters are basically locked into place: Blake Brandel, Gus Lavaka, Sumner Houston and Trent Moore. The last spot will be a battle between Kammy Delp, Yanni Demogerantas and Clay Cordasco. Also, keep an eye out for Brandon Kipper, the transfer from Hawaii has to sit out this season, but should earn a starting spot in 2019.

Will Oregon State’s veteran offensive line lead to new and improved production on the field? Only time will tell, but they’ll face the toughest front-seven they’ll see all season on August 1st against Ohio State.
