Oregon State had a very slow recruiting month in July, but August is starting off with a bang! Yesterday, Kase Rogers a running back from Texas announced his commitment to Oregon State and today Isaiah Smalls followed suit and also committed to the Beavers.

The Beavers have been looking for a play-making tight end and Isaiah Smalls checks all the boxes. He is big and physical, but also has the ability to make plays with the ball in his hands. Check out his highlights below he is not easy to tackle, but also has very soft hands.
Smalls has a unique story and perspective on college football where he sees it as a way to not only improve his own life, but the lives of his family members. The California native immediately hit it off with Oregon State’s coaching staff and is a huge addition for the Beavers 2018 recruiting class.
Isaiah Smalls marks the 7th Oregon State football commit for the 2018 class. He joins: Spencer Petras, Kase Rogers, Jake Dukart, Isaac Hodgins, Andy Koch and Deshon Wilson. The Beavers will have 15 (or 16) scholarships available for the 2018 class and they recently sent out their official written offers at the start of August.
