Oregon State landed their second commitment for the 2018 class just hours after their spring game on Saturday. Defensive tackle, Isaac Hodgins, the younger brother of four-star wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins; announced his decision to commit to Oregon State.

Isaac Hodgins received an offer from OSU last month, and committed while on a visit to Corvallis. Hodgins told Yahoo Sports "Just seeing everything in person was awesome and meeting the D-line coach and the defensive coordinator was awesome... The school just felt like home to me, so after the game with my meeting with coach Andersen, I told him I was ready to commit and didn't want to wait any longer."

Isaac Hodgins decision to join his older brother at Oregon State isn’t a huge surprise, but is a great addition for the Beavers. Isaac Hodgins joins DeShon Wilson as the first two members of the 2018 recruiting class. Recruiting should pick up for the Beavs now that spring practices are officially over and the coaches will hit the road.

Isaac is a very different player than his older brother Isaiah. The elder Hodgins is a tall, gifted wide receiver while Isaac prefers to shed blockers and get after the ball-carrier. Just check out his highlight video below.
