Kase Rogers is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back from Houston, Texas who the Beavers have been heavily recruiting. Rogers held offers from Oregon State, Utah and Florida Atlantic University, but shut down his recruitment Tuesday afternoon when he announced his decision via Twitter.

The Lamar high school native is a great athlete and who has experience at running back and wide receiver. The Beavers currently have an extremely deep and strong running back core, but Kase Rogers will provide a huge boost for the future. Kase Rogers is a playmaker with the ball in his hands and has breakaway speed that makes him a threat to take it to the endzone at anytime. Kase Rogers was recruited to Oregon State to be a running back, but with their running back depth I wouldn’t be surprised to see him contribute on special teams as a kick returner and work out of the slot early in his college career.
Kase Rogers marks the 6th Oregon State football commit for the 2018 class. He joins: Spencer Petras, Jake Dukart, Isaac Hodgins, Andy Koch and Deshon Wilson. The Beavers will have about 15 scholarships for the 2018 class and they recently sent out their official written offers at the start of August.
