Offensive Lineman Jake Levengood has signed his letter of intent, and will join the Beavers next fall. Levengood hails from Vacaville High School in Vacaville, California, and at 6-foot-4, 260 pounds, will probably spend some time bulking up before bringing his skills to the Beavers O-line.

Levengood played Offensive Tackle and Defensive End in High School, but it remains to be seen how he’ll be used in Jim Michalzik’s scheme. He may project as more of a guard, but we’ll have to see how he takes to the Oregon State system.
Oregon State had some in conference competition for Levengood, as he was also offered by Arizona and Washington State. Outside the PAC, Levengood also received offers from San Jose State, Sacramento State, and Nevada. Oregon State won out early in November though, and look to bring some serious run blocking skills to the future of their line. Check out some highlights below.
Stay tuned to Building the Dam, and we’ll keep you updated on all of today’s recruiting news.
