ALERT ALERT Time To Renew Your Football Tickets ALERT ALERT

It is that time of year again when we put up our money to renew Beavers' football season tickets. For many of use this is more than just a financial commitment. It is tradition. It is being a part of something. It is being able to be around friends and family or that one loud guy from behind you that has a comment about everything and cheers on third down plays even during blow outs and stays until the clock hits zero (hey that's me). But there seems to be a different feeling this year.

If you have looked at the prices they have increased from last year even with one less game. But this Valley Viewer will be there like all those other years. Heck I've had season since I got out of the regular Army in 2007 wow has it been almost eight years already time has gone by fast. I'm sure for some of you I'm still a new fan. But to me the price increase will be worth it. The reason for it is the new hope from coach Andersen and his coaching staff, a new era in Beavers football is about to beginning and a breath of fresh air has come to the football program. Sure expiations might be low next year but some how I'm OK with this. Because before Riely and company skipped town we could have been facing a 2 to 4 win team next year due in large part to a first year starting QB a la Canfields first, Mannions first year and others. This is not an slight on Reily it is just the way it would have been.

Sure, one may need to temper all of this hope and expectation when Andersen has not even coached a game. It could be a total disaster and or Andersen could leave in two or three years. But so would have been trying to pay out the rest of Reily's life time contract after going through two or three years more years of losing seasons while waiting for his class to mature.

But like I said I'm happy to pay once again to see the Beavers play in person. To me there is nothing like going to games in person. The walk to the stadium because I will not pay for parking, the sight and smells of the tail gates, the roar of the crowd. Sure, this year once again might be filled with late night game and blow outs loses with half the crowed leaving before the end of 4th qtr. or even the 3rd qtr.. But I'll still go and be there at every game for every min. But remember there are always chances to see great victories and football moments that will stay with you forever the likens of USC 2006,USC 2008, Badgers 2012, Sun Devils 2014 and any many others ( I do understand all of these that I have listed were with Riely at the helm).

So I encourage any and all to try to make it to a game if you do come stay for the whole thing you paid for the ticket make the most out of it. Go Beavers
