Oregon St. got some good news on every level today, when freshman basketball player Chai Baker got to go home from the hospital.
Baker was released from Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis, where he has been since collapsing of a heart event while practicing last Tuesday, today.
Doctors still have not determined the exact cause of the Baker's collapse, and he will continue to undergo monitoring and testing.
Baker had no history of any such problems prior to last Tuesday's episode, and neither a heart valve problem nor a clot are believed to be the culprit.
Baker has steadily improved throughout the last week, and doctors do expect a full recovery.
