E.J. Jones is listed at 6-1, 180 pounds. He committed to The Jayhawks in 2018 after spending time with Ellsworth Community College. Last season for Kansas he started 8 of 9 games for the Jayhawks and recorded 23 tackles. He also recorded six pass breakups (PBUs); which was 2nd on the team for Kansas. Kansas finished last season 0-9.
Jones will likely replace Nahson Wright at corner who declared for the NFL draft last week. Jones is a senior and will have just one year of eligibility remaining. The Beavers will keep searching for transfers that can make an immediate impact; but they are off to a great start with their recent additions.
