The Reese’s Senior Bowl is always a stand-out moment for any of college football’s brightest stars and this week, the game released their 2021 “Top 250”, a version of a watch list, complete with a deep and gifted list of remarkable talents.
Two of the players who made the cut for that initial list was Oregon State defensive stand-outs Hamilcar Rashed Jr. and Isaiah Dunn.
Rashed Jr. is an easy selection, considering the wealth of accolades that he’s received so far this off-season. As we’ve chronicled his standing in projected 2021 NFL Mock Drafts, he was also named to watch lists for the Butkus Award, the Chuck Bednarik Award and the Lott IMPACT Trophy Award, in addition to being named a Phil Steele Magazine 2020 Preseason All-American First-Team member and selected as a preseason Walter Camp First-Team All-American.
As for Dunn, the defensive back tallied 42 tackles last season, broke-up 8 passes (T-94th in the country) and forced a fumble throughout his 2019 campaign. A native of Antioch, California, the six-foot, 185-pounder has been a steady riser on the Beavers depth chart through his stay in Corvallis.
The 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl is set to take place on Saturday, January 30th at the University of South Alabama’s Hancock Whitney Stadium at 11:30 AM PT. It will be televised on the NFL Network.
