The hype train around Oregon State linebacker continued to roll on, as on Tuesday, Oregon State linebacker Hamilcar Rashed Jr. was named to the Phil Steele Magazine 2020 Preseason All-America First-Team.

To sum up the rest of Rashed Jr.’s off-season publicity, he was named to both the 2020 Lott IMPACT Trophy Award Watch List, the 2020 Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List and selected as a preseason Walter Camp First-Team All-American. Rashed Jr. was also named as a started on our All-Decade Defensive Team, currently ranks as both a top five linebacker prospect for the 2021 NFL Draft and overall is considered a top sixty prospect.

According to a release from the school’s athletic department on OSUBeavers.com, the fearsome 6’ 4” linebacker was also named to the Phil Steele Magazine 2020 Preseason All-Pac-12 First Team on Monday.
