A busy day in Beaver Nation just got a little busier as in state linebacker Junior Walling announced he is headed to Corvallis.

Walling, who’s father Jason played for the Beavs in the early 1990’s, is listed as the 17th Inside Linebacker prospect for the 2020 class. The McNary standout chose OSU over offers from Air Force, Utah and a handful of Ivy League schools. The 6-2, 215 pounder was all league at linebacker and running back after his junior season. 247 listed Walling as the 3rd best recruit in the state of Oregon.

Oregon State recruiting has really picked up the past few weeks with. Walling is the 6th commitment in the 2020 class joining fellow linebacker John Miller, quarterback Ben Gulbranson, wide receiver Zeriah Beason, offensive lineman Cooper Darling and JUCO defensive lineman Tavis Shippen. The Beavs also recently picked up two JUCO commits that will be eligible for the 2019 season.
