Gulich went right where most had mock drafts projected, which was late first or early second round.
Gulich just finished up her senior campaign at Oregon State, leading the Beavs to an elite 8 appearance and tourney upsets of Tennessee and Baylor. For the seasons, the German born Gulich averaged 17.5 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game, while leading the Beavers to a 36-8 overall record in what many proclaimed would be a down year for the Beavs. Gulich’s career at Oregon State was highlighted by a sweet sixteen, two elite eights and a final four.
WNBA training camps will begin on April 29th, while preseason games start on May 4th. The regular season begins in just a little over a month on May 18th.
