With the basketball season winding down and baseball getting started up, we’re in a busy period for Beaver news. Here are some stories that may have slipped through the cracks.


With the Women’s Basketball regular season wrapping up, the PAC-12 has named their All-Conference Teams. Of note for Beavers fans, star forward Marie Gulich has made the list for the second straight year. Gulich also made the All-Defensive team. No other Beavers cracked the roster, though some received votes. Katie McWilliams earned votes for the All-Conference team and the All-Defense team, Mikayla Pivec and Kat Tudor received votes for the All-Conference team, and Aleah Goodman received votes for the All-Freshman team.

After reports of a fan harassing a player at last weekend’s home game against USC, Oregon State has found and disciplined the person involved. The unnamed culprit will be banned from Oregon State’s next two home games.

With scandal swirling around Men’s College Basketball, with particular focus at the moment on our conference due to Sean Miller, Wayne Tinkle was asked how he felt about changes to NCAA regulations that would allow college athletes to receive some remuneration.
