Pac-12 Media Days have come and gone. Each Pac-12 team sent their Head Coach and two players to represent their programs in Hollywood over the two day stretch. The Beavers brought Ryan Nall and Manase Hungalu, here’s what they did:

And there was even a wall of doughnuts representing each team (for some reason):

Gary Andersen didn’t shy away from the spotlight either. He made one of my favorite Coach Andersen quotes when he said “We’re 5,214 pounds stronger than we were a year ago”. He expounded on the importance of getting stronger in the Pac-12.

Coach Andersen also talked about the teams increased expectations and getting back to practice:

On the first day of the Pac-12 Media Days, Oregon State was selected to finish fifth in the North Division. The Beavers received the 10th lowest number of votes in the conference ahead of Arizona and California. They were just eight points behind Arizona State as well.
The media chose USC as the favorite to win the Pac-12 title while Washington was selected to finish second in the whole Pac-12, followed by Stanford, Utah, UCLA and Washington State. The full projected conference standings are below:

Lastly, Media Days featured discussions on the early signing period for recruiting. Some coaches opposed it, while others supported it. Mike Leach made some people laugh and also provided headlines (per usual). OregonLive.com put together the best quotes from a quote filled event here. Also, Willie Taggert was surprised when no one applauded for him, so he um... asked for a round of applause?
