Oregon State's football home opener against Idaho St. on Sat., Sept. 17, will be 2 PM.
The Pac-12 Network announced their slate of games for the first 3 weeks of the season today, and it includes one of the new 2 PM start times the conference secured for games on their network, which can overlap with the ESPN/ABC and FOX broadcast windows.
We knew this game would be relegated to the Pac-12 channel, being not only against a Big Sky/FCS opponent, but in the Bengals, one that hasn't been a Big Sky contender recently. The good news is it will be a day game, and it will not be a uber-early one, and it will get exclusive Pac-12 Network live coverage, shown on the National and Oregon channels.
A glance at the schedule does confirm the network will indeed persevere will their inexplicably poor decision to not show games outside the local channel(s) of the teams involved even when there's no conflict with other games. This is especially a problem for those whose' carrier either does not carry the national channel, or carries only the local channels in HD. It's less of an issue (or more of one) for the majority of the Pac-12 audience, whose' carrier doesn't carry any Pac-12 channel.

ESPN/ABC & FOX are expected to announce their early week schedules shortly, which will set the time for the season kickoff game at Minnesota on Thursday, Sept. 1. (Oregon State has a bye on Sept. 10.)
