Oregon State hasn’t played since last Wednesdays victory over Kent State. The competition level increases dramatically though as the Beavers start conference play. They face undefeated USC tonight (13-0) and then on Friday they play UCLA (13-0). Not many people are giving the Beavers much of a chance to win either game, but what happened the last time Oregon State opened conference play against these two schools? (Way back in 1976)
In 1976, Oregon State defeated No. 18 USC, 80-70, and No. 3 UCLA, 75-58, at Gill Coliseum the first week of conference play.#GoBeavs— Oregon State Hoops (@BeaverMBB) December 27, 2016
Oregon State has had a very disappointing start to their season, but they are hoping to put all that behind them now that the Pac-12 portion of their schedule is starting. They also hope to welcome back leading scorer, Tres Tinkle, in the near future. Feel free to chat about the game as the Beavers look to hand the Trojans their first loss.
