⇛ Hosting UC-Davis In “Beavers Beyond The Classroom” Game On Wednesday
Slated for an 11 AM tip-off on Wednesday morning on the West Coast, Oregon State will host the Big West’s UC-Davis in the program’s annual “Beavers Beyond The Classroom” game, which gives area school children the opportunity to get some time away from school and watch the team in a late morning showdown.
⇛ Las Vegas MGM Shootout Upcoming Next Week
Next week, Oregon State will travel to Sin City to take part in the Las Vegas MGM Shootout, where the Beavers are expected to play three games over the course of three days. Oregon State kicks off the tournament against hometown-favorite UNLV, and then based on their result, will meet with either New Mexico State or Quinnipiac.
⇛ Beavers Fall Out Of AP Top 25 Poll
Despite a solid 6-1 record, with their only blemish being a one-point loss to Marquette back on November 22nd, Oregon State has fallen out of the AP Poll for the first time since the postseason poll at the end of the 2013-2014 season. The Beavers seemed like they made a strong impression on voters wth their recent 77-38 thrashing of Southern Utah but it was not enough to keep Oregon State in the Top 25 mix.

UC-Davis (6-2) | Dec. 14th, 11:00 AM (HOME)
The Aggies’ first road trip on the season outside the state of California, UC-Davis is an intriguing opponent for Oregon State, with a 6-2 overall record to their name, including tough losses to Hofstra and Stanford. The star of the show for UC-Davis is sophomore forward Morgan Bertsch (16.5 PPG, 5.8 RPG), a Big West All-Freshman team selection a season ago, who leads the team in both scoring and rebounding. Look for juniors Dani Nafekh (13.9 PPG), Pele Gianotti (10.9 PPG) and Rachel Nagel (10.6 PPG) to also have an impact for the Aggies in this one. The Aggies are coming off a hard-fought 68-66 win over Saint Mary’s, in which the aforementioned Bertsch had 19 points on 8-15 shooting from the field.
