Here's another rare image from a real photo postcard that I wanted to preserve before it vanishes. This one shows the entire OAC team, with the starting 11 marked on the image in pen. The caption at the bottom reads "The regular team is marked. The rest are subs."
Again for football in this era the starters tended to play both ways, offense and defense, much like basketball or soccer today. The era of specialization came only later.
One of these days I'll work on getting Wikipedia's coverage of the seasons of these early OAC teams up to snuff...
