The unprecedented for so late in the season snowfall in and around Corvallis, which totals as much as 18 inches in some places, and now has freezing rain on top of it, has scrambled the schedule for events on campus.

Friday's women's basketball game against Colorado was postponed to today, originally at 11 AM, and subsequently, until noon. There will be no PAC-12 channel tv, and not even a local radio broadcast.

The game is still planned to be played, but Oregon St. is discouraging attempts to attend if you must drive to do so. Admission is free if you do make it there.

As a result, Sunday's game against Utah was also rescheduled for Monday night at 6 PM. The Colorado game was scheduled to be the "Pink Out" game, and while that's still the case, Monday's game will also be a "Pink Out", Fans that purchased the "Dam Cancer" T-shirt as part of the promotion will be admitted free on Monday as well, Oregon St. officials said.

Weather forecasts call for warming, and snow melting rain, by then.

The Oregon State gymnastic team's dual meet against California, scheduled for Saturday night, has been postponed, with no makeup date announced.

The Beavers' next scheduled home meet is 6 p.m. Feb. 15 when they host the annual Comfort Suites Invitational against Boise State, Utah State and Seattle Pacific.

The Beavers' wrestling team's Pac-12 dual meet at Boise State Friday was also cancelled, and no decision has been made about whether it will be made up.

The wrestling team is trying today to fly out for Sunday's 2 p.m. dual meet at Arizona State, which is scheduled to be shown on the Pac-12 channel.

Sunday evening, the men's basketball team's game at Arizona, at 5 PM MST (4 PM locally), will also be on the Pac-12 channel. The basketball team left Wednesday afternoon for Arizona, before the snow storm hit the mid-valley.
