After a disappointing 0-2 showing the Pac-12 Tournament, the Beavers are backing in to the postseason. Despite the losses, the Beavers should still at least land a 2 seed in the field, though their odds of hosting a regional are long gone.

The NCAA has announced the 16 schools which will host regionals, with 8 SEC teams earning half of the slots. With the full selection show tomorrow, many publications are getting in their projections of the final field. They have the Beavers heading to a variety of locations, so let’s take a look at where OSU might end up.

D1 Baseball’s final batch of tournament predictions gives the Beavers their toughest possible match up. D1 has Oregon State travelling to Winston-Salem Regional, hosted by number one overall seed Wake Forest. They’d be joined their by 3 seed Charlotte and 4 seed Maine.

Baseball America also has the Beavers travelling south, but this time to face an SEC school, with the Beavers will ending up in the Nashville regional hosted by 6 overall seed Vanderbilt. In BA’s projections, Vandy and OSU would be joined by 3 seed NC State and 4 seed Lipscomb. College Sports Madness also has the Beavers taking on Vanderbilt, but in their projections the Commodores are the 4th overall seed, and OSU would be accompanied by UC Irvine and, once again, Lipscomb.
