Alfred Hollins, the former Oregon State men’s basketball forward who left the team during the 2020-2021 campaign, announced that he will transfer to UTEP for the upcoming season via a post on his Instagram account.

Hollins played in just three games for the Beavers during the 2020-2021 campaign, averaging 3.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and shooting 50% from the floor. He scored a season-high seven points in a blowout exhibition win over Northwest University, but didn’t seem to fit in the rotation for Wayne Tinkle’s squad after playing in 31 games in each of his first three campaigns on campus.

The native of San Francisco joins a group of Beavers players who have found new homes this off-season, including Tariq Silver (Austin Peay), Julien Franklin (Cal Poly) and Dearon Tucker (Indiana State).
