Oregon State Basketball: Beavers Release 2021-2022 Non-Conference Schedule

Avert your eyes from any primetime out of league match-ups.

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-Oregon State at Tennessee Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

On Tuesday, Oregon State released their 2021-2022 non-conference men’s basketball schedule, which includes a slate of games won’t exactly get the blood pumping for any fans looking for match-ups that may be potential NCAA Tournament resume boosters.

The highlight of the schedule will be the team’s inclusion in the Emerald Coast Classic, a four-team tournament in late November, which will take place at Northwest Florida State College and be televised on the CBS Sports Network. Earlier this summer, the Beavers drew Wake Forest in the first round of the event, with LSU and Penn State both serving as other potential opponents in the field.

A November 12th meeting against Iowa State on the road and a December 18th battle versus Texas A&M will be the program’s only other two battles against power conference foes. However, Oregon State will play a myriad of mid-major opponents at home which include Portland State, Samford, Sacramento State, UC-Davis and Nicholls State - an interesting return match-up for forward Warith Alatishe against his former school.

The Beavers will also take one road trip to a non-power conference opponent, when they make their way to Tulsa on November 15th.
