Oregon State Basketball: Beavers To Play Iowa State At Hilton Coliseum On November 12th

The Beavers and Cyclones will meet for the first time since 2019.

According to the release of Iowa State men’s basketball non-conference schedule, Oregon State will travel to Ames to play the Cyclones on November 12th this upcoming season. The match-up will be a return meeting of when Iowa State traveled to Corvallis in 2019, where Wayne Tinkle’s squad held off a tough Iowa State group, 80-74.

However, the Cyclones are currently a program in dire straits, as they finished last year with a 2-22 overall record and didn’t win a contest after December 20th. After the season, they parted ways with head coach Steve Prohm and have now hope former UNLV coach T.J. Otzelberger can rework an unproven roster to contend in the Big 12.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two programs, which began in 2007, with the Cyclones holding a 2-1 all-time advantage in the series.
