Former South Carolina running back Deshaun Fenwick has committed to Oregon State football. The transfer announced his decision on Instagram yesterday.
The transfer portal continues to benefit the Beavers. Fenwick will be eligible immediately and will have three years of eligibility remaining. In other transfer news Isaac Garcia has decided to transfer away from Oregon State.
Back to Deshaun Fenwick, he’s a 6-foot-1, 220-pound back that is very talented. He averaged 5.5 yards per carry for South Carolina and is a former three-star recruit. Fenwick will team up with BJ Baylor next season to provide a formidable duo coming out of the backfield.
Fans also can’t forget about recent stud signings in Damir Collins and Isaiah Newell. The Beavers are loaded at running back for the foreseeable future. I’d expect the Beavers to continue to search the transfer portal for players that can make an impact immediately. Especially since all players received an extra year of eligibility and all transfers are eligible immediately.
