As the calendar flips to August, college football’s return is theoretically closer. On Friday the Pac-12 announced a 10-game conference schedule only, with games starting on September 26th. Yesterday the Pac-12 players, said they won’t report to fall camp or participate in games unless changes are made. College football and the NCAA has largely ignored this pandemic and hoped for the best, but it doesn’t appear like that was a smart strategy. Regardless we will continue the top-20 list for the 2020 season.
#15 Champ Flemings - Wide Receiver
Champ is a beast for Oregon State. Small of stature but slippery in motion, don’t let the 5’ 5”, 140-pound frame of wide receiver/returner Champ Flemings fool you. The Pasadena, California native and graduate of Cathedral High School was a weapon for the Beavers in 2019. He burst onto the scene in the 2nd game of the 2019 season with this catch against Cal Poly.
As a redshirt junior Flemings is expected to start for Oregon State in 2020. The Beavers are looking to replace Isaiah Hodgins production (off to the NFL). And it looks like it’ll be a handful of WRs getting passes thrown to them. Champ will be in the mix with Trevon Bradford, Tyjon Lindsey, Kolby Taylor, Tre’Shaun Harrison, Jesiah Irish, Anthony Gould, Zeriah Beason etc etc.
39 receptions... 685 Yards... 4 TDs
