Wide receiver Jimmy Valsin signed his letter of intent today, officially joining the Beavers’ Class of 2021. Valsin attends Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas, and stands at 6’3” and 180 lbs. He was allso offered by Arkansas State, Boise State, Cincinnati and Colorado.

Valsin is coming into a very young receiver unit, though one that is going to have to replace some big names very soon. Trevon Bradford will be graduating, and Kolby Taylor just retired for medical reasons. Those two were the Beavers’ top receivers this season. Champ Flemings and Tre’Shaun Harrison will be seniors in 2021. There are a few young receivers who will start getting more targets, notably Tyjon Lindsey and Zeriah Beason, but there’s definitely room for a young player to bust out in a big way very soon. Here are some of Valsin’s highlights.
