Cadyn Grenier is a phenomenal short-stop and recently won the Pac-12 defensive player of the year award. His defense has never been in question as he quickly allowed Nick Madrigal to move to his more natural position as second-basemen. Grenier has also dramatically improved his offensive output.
Cadyn Grenier has been a crucial member of the Oregon State baseball team and will look to add another College World Series berth to the program before he turns pro. Grenier was drafted in the 25th round out of high school, but ultimately decided to come to Corvallis and hone his skills under Pat Casey. The Orioles look like they could have just nabbed their short-stop of the future and it will be interesting to follow Grenier’s career as he works his way up to the big leagues.
