For the first time in four years, the Oregon State Women’s Basketball team will not be hosting the the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament. Instead, the six seed of the Lexington Regional will be flying east to Knoxville, Tennessee to take on 11 seed Western Kentucky. Here was the team’s reaction to the release of their seeding:

On the other side of the Knoxville bracket, three seed Tennessee will take on 14 seed Liberty. It’s looking ahead, but I for one would love to see the Beavers take on the Volunteers to see who goes onto the Sweet 16!
Oregon State will face off against the Lady Toppers on Friday, March 16th, at 9 AM. You can catch the game on ESPN2. Return to Building the Dam for a breakdown of the matchup. Go Beavers!
