After breaking his wrist while sliding into home plate during the Beavers win over Ohio State on Friday, Nick Madrigal will be out for 4 to 6 weeks. Kendall Rogers from d1Baseball has the scoop.
INJURY NEWS: @BeaverBaseball All-American Nick Madrigal, as I suspected, will miss 4-6 weeks with a broken left wrist. Hopefully, he will be back sooner rather than later. #MLBDraft #GoBeavs

Madrigal had a quick start to the 2018 season, with 14 hits and 2 home runs, and a 1.473 OPS. The Beavers could miss his hitting power, but for now the team has found success with Trevor Larnach leading the way.
Here’s what the Beavers’ schedule looks like during the time Madrigal could miss.
- 3/02 - 3/04: vs Hartford
- 3/06: vs Portland
- 3/09 - 3/11: vs Cal State Fullerton
- 3/16 - 3/18: at California
- 3/23 - 3/25: vs Washington
- 3/29 - 3/31: at Utah
- 4/02 - 4/03: vs Nevada
- 4/06 - 4/08: at Arizona
