Oregon State Football Releases Depth Chart

The two-deep is set for the opener

NCAA Football: Arizona at Oregon State Cole Elsasser-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon State football team released their “two-deep” depth chart and injury report heading into the Colorado State game this weekend. As expected Seth Collins (starting slot receiver) has officially been ruled out due to a finger injury he suffered in practice. The good news is that sure-handed WR Timmy Hernandez is probable and would help a wide receiver core needing depth without Collins.

Check out the full two-deep depth chart below:

  2. Darell Garretson

Long Snapper

  1. Connor Kelsey
  2. Keegan Firth

Punt Return

  1. Trevon Bradford
  2. Timmy Hernandez

Kickoff Return

  1. Artavis Pierce
  2. Calvin Tyler, Jr.

The main takeaways for me is that Jalen Moore nabbed the starting safety spot next to Brandon Arnold, but Andrzej Hughes-Murray and Wesley Payne are still in a dead heat for a starting inside linebacker spot. Notably missing from the two-deep are Craig Evans (expected) and Isaiah Dunn (slightly surprising). I like having Artavis Pierce and Calvin Tyler back returning kick-offs and hopefully Trevon Bradford can provide a spark on punt returns like Victor Bolden used to.

I’m ready for Saturday! Let’s go Beavs!
