2017 NCAA Baseball Tournament Corvallis Regional Bracket Announced

Oregon State will welcome Nebraska, Yale, and Holy Cross

Beaver Baseball | @BeaverBaseball

Little drama surrounded this years selection show as the Beavs locked up a spot in the post season over 2 weeks ago and have been the number one team in the land for the better part of the season. It was officially announced last night that Corvallis would host a regional, and this morning brought news of who else will be spending their weekend at Goss.

The #1 overall seed Beavers will host Nebraska, Yale and Holy Cross

Oregon State will begin play Friday at 8pm when they play the regional’s #4 seed Holy Cross. The winner will play the winner of the Nebraska vs Yale matchup. For those unfamiliar with the regional format, it is a double elimination tournament, so the teams could play into Monday if necessary. The winner of the Corvallis regional will play the winner of the Clemson regional featuring Clemson, Vanderbilt, St. Johns, and UNC Greensboro in a 3 game super regional series next weekend. Oregon State would host the super regional if they win this weekend.

Check back later in the week for a more in depth preview of the Corvallis regional.
