The Pac-12 has been celebrating the 100 years since representatives from Oregon, Oregon State, California, and Washington met in a hotel in Portland and formed the Pacific Coast conference by naming All-Century teams, traversing the days of the PCC, the brief run as the AAWU, and finally the Pac-8, -10, & -12.
The latest one honors baseball players, and the Pac-12 Baseball All-Century team could probably win a few games no matter the opposition.
The southerly teams as would be expected dominate the list, given their historic weather advantage, now resolved, but the northwest has some notable representation, with Washington State's John Olerud the Player of the Century, doing the Cougs proud.
Oregon State is the only "Northern Division" team with multiple representatives, with both Jacoby Ellsbury and Michael Conforto on the list.
Washington's Tim Lincecum represents for the Huskies, and rounds out the Northwest contingent.
