Oregon State's senior guard Jamie Weisner has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week for her efforts in leading the 7th ranked Beavers to a senior weekend sweep of the LA schools.

Weisner not only posted huge stat lines, she did most of the damage to the opponents when it mattered most to the outcome of the contest.

Friday night, Weisner scored 18 points to lead the Beavers to a 76-52 win over USC, but 16 of those game high 18 came in the decisive third quarter, when Oregon State broke open a game they led by 6 at the half into a 21 point lead.

Sunday night, Weisner was again the game's leading scorer, with 25 points to lead 7th ranked Oregon State to a 64-54 win over then 12th ranked UCLA. 23 of those came in the first half, carrying the Beavers to a 5 point halftime lead against the Bruins until Ruth Hamblin and Sydney Wiese got rolling after the break.

Weisner also had a career high 14 rebounds from her guard spot, and this on a night when Hamblin was hauling down 15 boards herself. And against a Bruin squad that snagged 43 rebounds, making each one vital.

Its the third time Weisner has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week, and the second time in the last 3 weeks.
