Jamie Weisner had a big week for the Beavers, and was recognized for it by the conference.

After leading Oregon State to 3 wins in the last week, 2 against ranked opponents and 2 on the road, Jamie Weisner was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week.

Weisner started the week off by making 9 of 10 shots to score a game high 25 points to lead the Beavers to a 67-44 win over then 8th ranked Arizona State. The Sun Devils went on to a sweep of the LA schools, so the win flipped the relative rankings, with Oregon State moving up to 8th in this week's poll, and augmented both teams and the conference's overall RPI (the Pac-12 has the highest conference RPI in the country).

Weisner added a team high 21 points Friday night in Seattle, as Oregon State downed then 24th ranked Washington 61-53, passing the 1,500 career points milestone in the process.

Weisner, like most of the Beavers, struggled more Sunday morning in Pullman, and finished with only 9 points, but that included a pair of 3 pointers that kept Oregon State in the game until the Beavers eventually came from behind and pulled away to a 54-45 win over Washington State. Weisner also had 5 assists and 4 rebounds against the Cougars.

For the week, Weisner averaged 18.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists, and shot 51%, and an even more impressive 57% from 3 point range.

It's the second time in her career Weisner has been the conference Player of the Week.

Pac-12 conference leading Oregon State will be home for Friday-Sunday series the next 2 weekends, against the mountain schools this coming weekend, and the LA schools the following week.
