Happy Thanksgiving!

We at Building The Dam wish all Beaver fans everywhere a happy, healthy, and well-fed Thanksgiving. And on the eve of the resumption of hostilities tomorrow in the Civil War, even to our green and gold neighbors. Today is the day to realize we have much to be thankful for. Even in a season with few wins for the orange and black, and not enough for the green and gold to get to the Rose Bowl, we still had the great opportunity to try.

We are as always thankful for those who follow Oregon State, and our coverage of the Beavers, but we are always especially thankful for the young men and women who provide us the chance to watch the sports we enjoy so much, and look and listen to the the surrounding sounds from the great bands, and the colors (and color guard) that makes game day so special.

And though we could do with fewer late night games and blown calls, we are thankful that's some times the worst things that happen all week. There are so many that would love to have those as their biggest issues.

So enjoy your family, your friends, a great feast, and some football today!
