Oregon St. has gotten a comittment from Texas linebacker Angelo Garbutt.

Oregon St. linebackers coach Trent Bray got a call this morning, on his day off, about one of "his" recruits, but it was good news.

Angelo Garbutt, an outside linebacker from Hebron High in Carrollton, Texas, announced today that he will become a Beaver. Garbutt is the 11th commit to Oregon St.'s 2015 recruiting class, and the second at linebacker, with JC transfer Kyle Haley having enrolled for this year, instead of 2015 as was originally the case.

Garbutt is 6'2" and 210 lbs., and is rated a 2 star prospect by Rivals.com.

Here's his highlights from last season:

Oregon St. won out over several teams from closer to home, including Sun Belt schools Arkansas St., Texas St., and Louisiana Monroe, and North Texas from Conference-USA, as well as Navy.

"Always nice to get some good recruiting news during fall camp," Oregon St. head coach Mike Riley tweeted.
