One more Beaver has heard their name called in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Safety Kitan Oldapo was drafted by the Green Bay Packers with the 169th overall pick in the draft.

Oladapo has been a staple of the Beavers’ secondary over the past few seasons. Pro Football Focus named him a first team All-American after his final season, and he has been a staple of the All Pac-12 teams in his time at Oregon State. In his final season as a Beaver he had 74 total tackles, 10 pass deflections and 2 interceptions.
Safety has been a position the Packers have targeted heavily in this year’s draft. In the second round they pickedd up Georgia’s Javon Bullard, and in the fourth they drafted Oregon’s Evan Williams. Oladapo may be in for a very competitive camp environment.
That’s probably all for Oregon State players in this year’s draft, but there could always be surprises. We should also see a few UDFAs get signed after the conclusion of the draft, so stay tuned.
