If there’s one thing Ethan Thompson is very used to doing, it’s finding a way to score the basketball.
And although the Chicago Bulls were taken down by the New Orleans Pelicans in their 2021 NBA Summer League debut, 94-77, Thompson found his way to tally 11 points on a 3-8 shooting game from the field (3-5 3PT) in 26 minutes of court-time.
Off the bench, the former guard also added a rebound and a steal in the defeat.
The Bulls had three other players also find the double-figure mark in scoring, but couldn’t slow down the Pelicans’ red-hot offense, which finished the contest with 25 assists on 37 made field goals.
Up Next: Chicago returns to the floor on Tuesday, August 10th against the San Antonio Spurs at 5:00 PM PT. The game will be televised nationally on NBATV.
