Mathias Malaki-Donaldson is a big-time talent from Oaks Christian high school in California. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound edge rusher has an impressive offer sheet, but choose Oregon State Sunday night.

Mathias is ranked as the 15th-best high school edge rusher in the country. He also has scholarship offers from: LSU, Michigan State, UCLA, Tennessee, Florida State and a bunch of other schools.
Tim Tebesar and Trent Bray deserve a lot of credit for connecting with Mathias. He made is official visit back in June. The Beavers have made great strides in building out their roster and adding depth at every position. Despite the improvements Oregon State has still struggled to find reliable pass-rushers and Mathias could step into a role almost immediately when in joins the team in 2022.
The Beavers continue to put together a nice recruiting class in 2022. Malaki-Donaldson joins 12 other verbal commits for 2022 and narrowly edges out Florida linebacker, Melvin Jordan, for the top-rated incoming recruit.
