Gabe Milbourn, ranked as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports, committed to the Beavers on Wednesday night, adding a new face to the 2021 recruiting haul by head coach Jonathan Smith and his staff.

Milbourn is listed as a 6’ 5”, 225 pound prospect who will jump onto a roster with some traffic in front of him at the tight end position, but in the years to come, should be in competition for a starting role. The senior chose Oregon State over the likes of a host of schools, including Fresno State, Sacramento State, San Jose State and UNLV.
Despite the Beavers 2021 class being ranked as the worst in the Pac-12 by 247 Sports and the 109th best group nationally, some gems within the haul, including quarterback Sam Vidlak, running back Damir Collins and defensive back Arnez Madison will likely help the new prospects to outperform their rankings.
Looking ahead to 2022, 247 Sports has the Beavers small four-man class already ranked within the Top 50 nationally. The group consists of quarterback Travis Throckmorton, running back Damien Martinez, wide receiver Cole Prusia and linebacker Melvin Jordan.
