Damien Martinez, a three-star rated running back prospect in the class of 2022 by Rivals, announced his commitment to Oregon State on Monday, via a post on his Twitter account.

Martinez chose Oregon State over Kansas, Georgia Tech, San Diego State and Texas State. He’s listed as a 5’ 10”, 220-pound prospect, who best as a between the tackles bruiser. He ran for 2,010 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior in high school.
The running back will be the second commitment in the class of 2022 for head coach Jonathan Smith and his staff. Joining linebacker Melvin Jordan IV who is the highest rated high school recruit in the Jonathan Smith era.
