Oregon State put together their most impressive game of the season, pulling off a huge win on the road against the USC Trojans. Oregon State never trailed in the 77-52 win, and the team now improves to 7-6 overall, and 5-6 in conference play.
The Beavers started the first quarter controlling the key, with under the basket layups and offensive rebounds allowing them to dominate possession. As the quarter went on, the three point game started coming into play, with Talia Von Oelhoffen and Aleah Goodman hitting shots to give the Beavers a 21-16 lead. Look at this absurd thing Goodman did at the end of the quarter.
And another look!

The Beaver defense completely shut down the Trojans in the second quarter, holding the team to just 7 points while the Beavers, and Von Oelhoffen in particular, found plenty of open looks. OSU led 37-23 at halftime.
USC kept things even in the third, but the Beavers once again took control of the game in the final quarter, once again led by Von Oelhoffen and Goodman. The team hit 64% of their three point shots, with Von Oelhoffen and Goodman each going 3-4. The Beavers outscored the Trojans 24-14 in the fourth, to take home a 77-52 win.
Von Oelhoffen led the Beavers in scoring with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Goodman was right behind her with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Ellie Mack added 13 points, including 2 threes, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Taylor Jones held down the key very well tonight, with 9 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists.
